Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0787; 01:17PM; 321 E 37th St; https://bit.ly/3XppElb; Historic South-Central; First arriving LAFD firefighters report of 1 story single family dwelling with fire showing and in offensive firefighting mode. Using standard operating procedures and operating in an offensive mode 32 firefighters were able to extinguish a detached shed fire that had extended into one room of the adjacent single family dwelling structure in 12 minutes. An aggressive fire attack operation prevented further extension into the 1 story single family dwelling. Crews remain on scene for overhaul. No Injuries reported. Using standard operating procedures and operating in an offensive mode 32 firefighters were able to extinguish contents fire in 16 minutes. An aggressive fire attack operation with coordination of a well disciplined roof operations prevented extension into the attic and the need for vertical ventilation. Crews remain on scene for overhaul of the contents and structure. No Injuries reports.
