Update Brush Fire; 07:27PM; 4700 N Griffin Av; internal:/; #MontecitoHeights #GriffinFire held to under 5 acres and now at 75% containment. LAFD presence will remain on scene throughout the night continuing to clean up hot spots and work with #LACoFD hand crews to clear areas. This is a "dirty-burn" which means there is still a lot of standing, half-burned fuel susceptible to reburning which must be cleared to keep residents safe.
