The patient was found under the train (but not trapped by the train). Firefighters accessed the patient by entering a crawl space below the platform. Multi-Patient Injury; INC#0804; 01:17PM; 900 W 7th St; https://bit.ly/33xRsHO; Downtown; PRELIM: Loud sound (firework?) earlier heard by patrons/employees at or near the Metro Center subway station, several minutes prior to their calling 9-1-1. Unclear if sound was heard on a subway train or at subterranean station. No fire. No smoke. No physical evidence of any 'explosion' damage on LAFD arrival. Three civilian adults (unknown affiliation) are currently being evaluated for minor unspecified injury, including auditory discomfort. They are currently indicating a desire to be released at scene. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1646; 11:43PM; 119 E Washington Bl; https://bit.ly/3xNRAB8; Downtown; Upon seeing smoke from the exterior of the building, 32 firefighters worked together on scene to force entry into the vacant (mostly) one-story commercial building, where they found and extinguished what appeared to be a warming fire inside, in 17 minutes. No reported injuries. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0325; 08:15AM; 1516 S Main St; https://bit.ly/3gFAMG3; Downtown; *Address Tentative* Forty-six LAFD firefighters confined heavy fire to one rear storage area of a 4,000 sq-ft metal-clad commercial building (built in 1936), knocking down the flames in 31 minutes. Firefighters quickly deployed rotary saws to make access to the rear of the structure and saved the front three quarters of the structure from damage (fire and smoke remained compartmentalized). There were no reported injuries.
