Update Structure Fire; INC#0848; 04:39PM; 215 E Winston St; https://bit.ly/4eacNup; Downtown; While an official knockdown has not yet been declared, firefighters have the bulk of the fire extinguished and are reducing the number of resources assigned to the incident. The RS3 Robotic Firefighting Vehicle is on scene to assist with reaching remaining pockets of fire in areas that are not safe for firefighters to enter. There are no injuries reported. Per protocol for a Major Emergency incident, LAFD Arson is on scene for the cause investigation. The fire extended to the adjacent large, commercial building. Due to heavy storage load, firefighters were not able to reach the seat of the fire. Additional resources are enroute.
