Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0202; 05:55AM; 645 W 23rd St; https://bit.ly/3itn8nW; University Park; One unit on the third floor was involved with fire. 84 LAFD firefighters skillfully confined it to the unit of origin with their coordinated interior fire attack and vertical ventilation. Residents of multiple units will be displaced (unknown number). No reported injuries. No structures threatened or damaged. No reported injuries. LAFD set up hydraulic tools to cut the guard rail and free the individual. Paramedic medical assessment was provided and patient has been transported to an area hospital. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1225; 08:12PM; 5334 E Hyde St; https://bit.ly/31wTQyF; El Sereno; Firefighters extinguished fire in one unit on the second floor. Fire extended into the wall space, where firefighters exposed and eliminated the hidden flames. Overall, it took 34 firefighters 25 minutes to claim a "knockdown." There were no reported injuries. Brush Fire 06/30/2020 INC#1126

Brush Fire; INC#1126; 06:32PM; 6306 E Tipton Wy; https://bit.ly/2BpNs1H; Eagle Rock; LAFD responded to reports of a transformer fire. When they arrived, they discovered a one-half-acre brush fire and upgraded the assignment. Fortunately, LAFD Air Ops were approximately two miles away on another brush fire and quickly diverted their water to this incident. The fire was knocked down in less than 15 minutes due to a swift response between LAFD and Pasadena FD. Update Brush Fire CONTAINED 06/30/2020 INC#1074

Update CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#1074; 06:45PM; 834 W Av 37; https://bit.ly/31yxM78; Mount Washington; LAFD firefighters protected both homes behind the brush fire by ground and air. The flames burned approximately one acre before the firefighters contained the fire. Proper brush clearance by the homeowner played a large role in allowing 62 firefighters to extinguish the fire in approximately 48 minutes. Crews will remain on scene to improve the line around the perimeter and extinguish any remaining hot spots or smoldering material. No reported injuries.
