Update Brush Fire #GettyFire; INC#0074; 07:00PM; 1800 N Sepulveda Blvd; internal:/www.lafd.org/news/getty-fire; Los Angeles; As of 7PM, the size of the fire remains at 745 acres with 52% containment. The damage inspection report has been completed with new numbers as follows;10 residences destroyed, 15 residences damaged. Firefighters worked throughout the day patrolling the fire perimeter and cooling any remaining hot spots. Current objectives for crews this evening will be to further build upon containment lines. Weather is proving to be more favorable over the next couple of days with weak offshore winds of 10-15 mph expected. A low relative humidity trend will continue through much of the next week across Southern California. Conditions remain favorable for dangerous fire growth and behavior. There is no change to the Mandatory Evacuation zone (www.lafd.org/news/getty-fire for the details).
