M.A., Emergency Management & Homeland Security
As a graduate student, you will be learning from experienced faculty from the university's Center for Emergency Management and Homeland Security in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions who will prepare you to lead in fields such as international security, and natural and man-made disaster mitigation. Graduates have received careers in the Secret Service, municipal government emergency management offices and heath leadership at international government agencies.
Emergency management degree students serve communities across the United States in either public, private or nonprofit sector organizations. Through collaboration among faculty, students and the practitioner community, we offer an online leading-edge program that addresses the complex array of 21st century challenges which require thoughtful and informed leadership. Our program also offers opportunities for international education. Through ASU’s membership in the PLuS Alliance, students have access to courses and the opportunity to work with faculty in Australia or the United Kingdom. -Arizona State University
