Associate of Science in Fire Science
Long Beach City College’s Fire Science Program is designed to prepare students for a career in the fire service, as well as to prepare working Firefighters for promotions within their own departments. Students learn the fundamentals of fire science, including the history and philosophy of fire protection, operations, and the fire department’s functions and role in local government, including related laws and regulations. –Long Beach City College
