Update Structure Fire; INC#0708; 02:27PM; 1 E Northstar St; https://bit.ly/3lNgFWR; Venice; KNOCKDOWN: 34 firefighters extinguished the fire in 63 minutes with no injuries reported. Firefighters made access to the structure and ascended floor by floor to locate the fire in one unit on the 2nd floor. The fire extended into a wall and required a thorough investigation to determine the extent of the burn and whether it made it's way up to the 3rd floor unit. Firefighters opened walls and ensured all smoldering spots were extinguished. Structure Fire; INC#1343; 08:48PM; 4605 N Lankershim Bl; https://bit.ly/3bCdg8F; North Hollywood; LAFD was summoned to an eight-story high-rise building doing business as City National Bank, where there was a fire on the roof from an apparent electrical problem with the illuminated sign. Firefighters ascended to the roof, extinguished the fire, and checked for extension into the exterior wall. The threat was eliminated in 30 minutes (9:18 PM) with no reported injuries.
