Fire continues to burn in ***an access portal (NOT a pedestrian walkway tunnel)*** below the 110 Freeway, which has forced a closure stretching north to Harry Bridges Boulevard and south to Channel Street. LADOT (INC#1494) and LAPD (INC#5119) are assisting with traffic control. While firefighters have removed a large amount of debris from the space, burning construction timber and other unmovable materials will require sustained suppression.
