Burns/Therm/Chem; INC#1511; 06:52PM; 1 W Wilshire Bl; https://bit.ly/4rBWJIk; Downtown; A possible electrical vault/electrical room explosion on the 20th floor of a 25 floor high rise building has injured 2 patients who were working in the vault/electrical room. Both patients are receiving a full medical assessment on scene, and are believed to be in critical condition. There is no fire problem or residual electrical issue according to firefighters on scene. FATALITY Long Fall 12/01/2025 INC#1154

Update FATALITY Long Fall ; INC#1154; 03:24PM; 7400 N Canoga Av; https://bit.ly/4ovyA3s; Canoga Park; An approximately 44 year old male fell 35 feet onto a 10 foot high iron fence while trimming a palm tree. Tragically, this fall rendered the patient beyond medical help. An LAFD USAR team will utilize a high angle rope system to carefully recover his body, which is currently covered by a sheet and shielded from public view by a tarp to preserve the decedent's dignity. The Mayor's Crisis Response Team is en route to the scene to provide emotional support to fellow workers. LA County Coroner's office was notified and will assume responsibility of the body upon arrival. Any additional inquiries can be directed to LAPD Topanga Division INC #2890. Unfortunately, the worker succumbed to his injuries and was determined dead by LAFD. A contents fire in apartment 307 was knocked down by 42 firefighters in 11 minutes. Cause of fire is unknown and under investigation by LAFD Arson unit. No injuries reported. Traffic Collision - LAFD Involved; INC#1389; 08:00PM; 8700 N Woodman Av; https://bit.ly/3KqaWaj; Arleta; An LAFD Rescue Ambulance was transporting an elderly male (94M) accompanied by an elderly female (81F) to a local hospital when the collision with an SUV occured. A total of 5 patients are being transported to local hospitals. A male (34M) driving the SUV is being transported to a local trauma center in critical condition. 2 LAFD members (the driver and attendant) as well as the original patient and additional passenger are also being transported to local hospitals in fair condition with unknown injuries. Update Containment/Transition of Command Brush Fire; INC#0773; 12:53PM; Brush *Ruby* Inc | Redmesa Dr; https://bit.ly/4em5AH2; Chatsworth; The footprint of the Ruby Incident fire is within MRCA (Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority) jurisdictional boundaries. This organization assumed command at 1620 hrs, and placed an MRCA duty officer on scene to maintain overnight patrol status with at least one MRCA Type III engine and one MRCA water tender until at least 0700 hrs tomorrow morning. The LAFD will return at 0700 hrs on 12/1 with drones to evaluate the scene and coordinate with MRCA for any further needs. While no injuries were reported to any fire department personnel, the rider of the motorcycle involved in the accident was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. It is estimated at 1 acre currently with some generalized spot fires. The rider of the motorcycle (unknown age/gender) is being assessed.
