The sole occupant of the dwelling is accounted for and receiving a medical assessment from LAFD paramedics. No injuries to LAFD personnel. Cause of fire is unknown at this time. Knockdown officially at 0313 hours. E72 oncscene initial size up a 2 story garden style apartment with heavy fire showing from the 1st floor, apt 1 on the alpha side of the apartment. initial reports of 2 patients jumped from the 2nd floor are false. Bryant IC requested Arson, Red Cross, DWP. Gas company and Building and Safety. Knockdown called 28 minutes after first unit pressed onscene.
