A civilian who was performing roof repairs has an injury to their hand and is being evaluated by LAFD paramedics. No injuries reported to LAFD personnel. The cause of the fire is undetermined. LAFD HazMat units are on scene monitoring the air which is reading safe atmospheric levels. Railroad Car Fire - Now Out; INC#0238; 05:19AM; 599 N Mission Rd; https://bit.ly/4tHjFpP; Lincoln Heights; Units arrived to find a Union Pacific railroad car heading westbound toward Downtown LA with white smoke emanating from the container. The train continued to a secured railyard for fire crews to make entry to the container and begin fire suppression. It took firefighters 1hr 4 minutes to fully extinguish the contents fire within the railcar. The cause of the fire is unknown.
