With 81 LAFD personnel assigned, the firefight will continue hand tools and hose lines against stubborn residual flames, that at this hour have thankfully caused no injury, no need for evacuation or structure damage. Update Brush Fire; INC#1230; 05:25PM; 2400 N Sepulveda Bl; https://bit.ly/38pX5xU; #Brentwood / #SepulvedaPass; Lingering wind during the final extinguishment phase and overhaul of the earlier one-quarter (0.25) acre brush fire between Sepulveda Boulevard and southbound lanes of the San Diego (I405) Freeway, has led to several stubborn hot spots developing in volatile light-to-medium brush beyond the initial containment line; The current and ongoing work of 150 assigned LAFD personnel, including a trio of LAFD helicopters is helping to curtail fire growth (no acreage update). There have been no injuries. No structures are threatened. There are currently no evacuation warnings. #LATraffic: The closure of Sepulveda Boulevard and at least one lane of the southbound 405 Freeway in the vicinity of the fire, is anticipated until LAFD operations are complete.
