Breakdown of the 6 Strike Teams from LAFD assigned to Sand Fire: ST1001: E60 E11 E26 E9 E94 BC701 ST1002: E61 E209 E21 E58 E33 BC711 ST1003: E98 E91 E18 E87 E70 BC712 ST1004: E89 E39 E12 E93 E5 BC14 ST 1880 E8136 E8137 E8138 E8139 BC717 (Type III Wildland Engines) ST 1075: E3C E3S E1B E1C E6S BC710 (XLA strike team with engines from Culver City FD, Beverly Hills FD and Santa Monica FD). For a total of 29 fire engines and 6 battalion commands = 128 firefighters. While providing the necessary support to combat the dangerous Sand Fire, the LAFD remains fully capable and prepared for all responses within the City of Los Angeles.; Margaret Stewart
