Once firefighters located the patient and assessed his (45yo male) injury, they requested a hoist operation. One person was fatally struck and was found down on the beach, along with two of the vehicles involved (none in the water). Firefighters arrived to quickly extinguish the structure and outside fires, protecting the interior of the home. Firefighters are setting up ventilation measures to clear some light smoke that made its way inside. Ultimately, it took 18 firefighters 15 minutes to respond and extinguish the flames.
