KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1459; 09:23PM; 509 S Westlake Av; https://bit.ly/3eVE9aK; Westlake; Firefighters searched the fire building - a 3,312 sq-ft two-story four-plex built in 1908 - and did not find any victims inside, as previously reported. Firefighters performed a coordinated attack with interior fire attack and vertical ventilation. It took 43 firefighters 16 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries. There are no changes to the Evacuation Warning in the City of Los Angeles (map available at www.lafd.org/news). Information on the arrested arson suspect can also be found at lafd.org/news.
