KNOCKDOWN Boat Incident; 06:47AM; Berth 42 - Slip M 32 - Port of Los Angeles; internal:/; San Pedro; LAFD crews by sea and land took 29 min to confine a "stubborn fire" to the cabin and engine room of what is now described as a docked (name not currently available) 50 ft sport yacht, which remains afloat; Floating booms will be proactively deployed by LAFD around vessel to contain any fuel or contaminants during dewatering operation (about 4" water aboard craft); No injury; Loss/Cause TBD; NFD; - Brian Humphrey

Update Aircraft Emergency 07/21/2017

Update Aircraft Emergency; 12:55PM; 15060 W Valleyheart Dr; internal:/; Sherman Oaks; Patient update: 3 adults (2 male, 1 female) and 1 teenager (female) were all out of the helicopter prior to LAFD arrival. All transported with what appear to be non life threatening injuries. The pilot limited damage to a small section of fence, no homes damaged and no one on the ground injured. W Valleyheart Dr from Sepulveda to Noble will remain closed for undetermined period of time while FAA / NTSB assume command of the incident for their investigation. LAFD PIO on scene.
