They will continue ground-based efforts to fully extinguish smoldering vegetation. There have been no injuries, no need for evacuation and no structures threatened. Update Traffic Collision; INC#0246; 07:24AM; 13040 W Sunset Bl; https://bit.ly/2zQG661; Pacific Palisades; The one patient (unknown age / gender / condition / affiliation / circumstances) trapped in the undescribed vehicle, has been skillfully rescued by LAFD personnel, who used hydraulic prying tools to disassemble the vehicle's dashboard and free the patient, now en route to a regional trauma center with LAFD Paramedics. #LATraffic: Closure of one or more lanes in the vicinity may continue until the (LAPD West Traffic Incident #997) investigation is complete. Firefighters contained the fire to the duct work from the kitchen of the restaurant, preventing it from extending into the attic. No injuries reported.
