*KNOCKDOWN* Structure Fire; 04:57PM; 6500 N Sepulveda Bl; internal:/; It took 169 Los Angeles Firefighters, 2 hours and 53 minutes to fully extinguish active flame; No injuries at this time; LAFD presence will continue overnight with extensive onsite operations/investigation tomorrow; NFD; Brian Humphrey

Update Structure Fire 02/14/2016

Update Structure Fire; 04:32PM; 6500 N Sepulveda Bl; internal:/; Now 167 LAFD personnel assigned to operations that will continue (albeit with lesser staff) through the night to fully extinguish smoldering throughout this 45,094 square foot building constructed as apartments in 1964; We do not have motel conversion or closure date; Street Closure has been narrowed to include all civilian traffic prohibited on Sepulveda Blvd between Victory and Kittridge; Fire cause remains "Under Active Investigation" that will continue into tomorrow; No $ loss yet established; Though there have been no injuries reported, LAFD has yet to fully search every part of this large and heavily damaged structure.
