Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1466; 08:33PM; 19159 W Rosita St; http://bit.ly/2G2zEsR; Tarzana; 32 FF in 22 min. A contents-only fire in one bedroom was quickly extinguished by firefighters, who extended hose lines inside to the seat of the fire. Firefighters held off on cutting the roof until the extent of the fire was discovered. Fire attack quickly extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading, and communicating quickly to the ventilation group to avoid putting holes in roof. No reported injuries. Update Hazardous Materials 01/14/2020 INC#0681

Update Hazardous Materials; INC#0681; 02:10PM; 330 E 93rd St; http://bit.ly/3aclS4n; Green Meadows; Los Angeles (City) Fire Department responded with Firefighter-Paramedics and Hazardous Materials Specialists to Jordan High School and 93rd Elementary, which are both within the city limits of Los Angeles, for exposure to an unconfirmed substance that fell from above after an aircraft passed over the school at a relatively low altitude (substance reportedly smelled like fuel). A total of 16 patients were evaluated with minor complaints. No one was transported by LAFD to the hospital. All patients were released on scene to parents or family members. Note: Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to different schools nearby that are outside the City of LA, within the areas the LA County Fire is responsible for. A commercial building was exposed to flames. Firefighters arrived on scene to protect the building and extinguish the outside fire. LAFD Air Ops was able to land near the trail and contact/assess the patient. LAFD Air Ops will transport patient to local hospital by air ambulance. No hoist necessary. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0197; 06:26AM; 916 N Macneil St; http://bit.ly/2TpEVlY; San Fernando; 46 firefighters overcame the large attic spewing flames through the roof atop a one-story home, extinguishing the fire in 34 minutes. Companies will remain on scene for an extended duration to overhaul the structure, combing through the excessive storage conditions to ensure there is no hot material smoldering underneath. No reported injuries. Structure Fire; INC#0197; 05:52AM; 916 N Macneil St; http://bit.ly/2TpEVlY; San Fernando; Heavy fire coming from the attic of a one-story single-family home. Fire attack team used a transitional attack from just outside to cool the extremely hot atmosphere before going in. Roof companies needed to use roof ladders (with hooks on top) due to the steep pitch of the roof. The one occupant was located outside unharmed (after initially being reported as trapped). Firefighters found excessive storage conditions inside that slowed their progress.
