Update Structure Fire; 02:20PM; 1018 S Santee St; internal:/; #DTLA KNOCKDOWN 90 FF in 34 minutes. Building type updated to a 2 story, poured in place concrete commercial building. A fully involved attic fire extended to the 2nd floor. The fire on the 2nd floor was quickly extinguished while crews fought the attic blaze. The fire was contained to this structure and prevented from extending to the 1st floor. No injuries reported. LAFD Arson enroute for the investigation. Update Structure Fire; 11:54AM; 6664 N Ampere Av; internal:/; North Hollywood; KNOCKDOWN: 45 FF in 25 mins. The additional resources requested raised this incident to a Greater Alarm status but knockdown achieved prior to those resources arriving on scene (that number is 70 FFs). In addition to the live ammunition discharging, several (number unknown) propane tanks in the backyard also set off by the heat. Fire extended into the attic. The exposure to the rear of the structure was defended from any damage. No injuries reported. Cause and $ loss to be determined.
