Firefighters will remain on scene to "overhaul" the structure, putting out any remaining hot spots. No reported injuries. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1459; 09:23PM; 509 S Westlake Av; https://bit.ly/3eVE9aK; Westlake; Firefighters searched the fire building - a 3,312 sq-ft two-story four-plex built in 1908 - and did not find any victims inside, as previously reported. Firefighters performed a coordinated attack with interior fire attack and vertical ventilation. It took 43 firefighters 16 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries. Update Brush Fire - Palisades; INC#1448; 10:00AM; Containment of the fire now stands at 32% while the acreage has been more accurately updated to 1158 acres. There are no changes to the Evacuation Warning in the City of Los Angeles (map available at www.lafd.org/news). Information on the arrested arson suspect can also be found at lafd.org/news.
