Firefighters located a small fire on the balcony of a three story, garden style apartment building. The resident, 42yo M, reported he was charging an electric scooter which ignited and he moved it to the balcony. He was transported with burn injuries to hands/arms and possible respiratory tract involvement. Police reported the subject was in custody and firefighters engaged in offensive fire attack. It took 28 firefighters just 8 minutes to access and extinguish the small fire inside the bungalow.
