Hiker Rescue; INC#1142; 03:57PM; 8406 La Tuna Canyon Rd; https://bit.ly/3qRsvpN; #ShadowHills; Two females were hiking with the three dogs in a remote area of La Tuna Canyon, when sadly, one of the beloved pets experienced a medical emergency and passed away. Firefighters hiked in to assist the small group. Due to the timing of the situation, exhaustion was growing and daylight was dwindling, so firefighters on the ground called for LAFD Air Operations to hoist the two hikers and two remaining pets from the remote location, then firefighters hiked back out with the deceased pet, which was returned to the owner.
