During initial fire attack, LAFD Firefighters discovered and rescued one elder adult male resident from the smoke charged structure. He has been taken to an area hospital by LAFD Paramedics in critical condition. No other injury reported. No fire. No injury. The small scale evacuation (unknown number of persons) and street closure in the immediate area have been discontinued. No fire. No injury. LAFD crews have cordoned off the immediate area, and out of an abundance of caution, may briefly isolate or evacuate a handful of residential properties and businesses, and close lanes of traffic, in the immediate area only. Sadly both patients were determined dead on scene. The original 9-1-1 call was received at 7:14PM.
