Update Structure Fire 06/26/2016

Update Structure Fire; 06:53PM; 17011 Addison St; internal:/; A non-ambulatory elderly male was rescued by firefighters from the burning home and transported to a local hospital in serious condition. 2 other elderly females were medically evaluated, however declined hospital transport. The cause of the fire is likely due to combustibles coming in contact with a heat lamp. Hiker in Distress 06/26/2016

Hiker in Distress; 12:06PM; 4000 Sullivan Fire Rd; https://goo.gl/maps/2eJP7iHsd2S2; #Brentwood; LAFD Helicopter (Fire 5) hoisted and transported an adult male with leg and shoulder injury to a local hospital in serious condition. Just prior, LAFD and LACoFD responded to 2612 Westridge Rd in Brentwood at 12:22 PM for a 65 y/o F hiker with heat exhaustion. LAFD encourages residents to enjoy all LA has to offer, however reminds those hiking to stay hydrated, don't hike during peak heat, stay on designated trails, hike in groups, carry a fully charged cell phone and know you location so firefighters can find you if you are in need of medical assistance; FS 109; Batt 10; Valley Bureau; Council District 11; BC10 BP83 E109 E293 H4 H5 RA93 T93; 8; 18; Erik Scott
