Firefighters are assisting with the removal and movement of passengers through the tunnel to a platform. There are no injuries and no fire problem - disabled train only. Firefighters could hear ammunition being 'cooked off' continuously from the heat and received (unconfirmed) reports the house is used in criminal dealings and could be 'booby-trapped'. Firefighters established a defensive operation and located a 2nd structure behind the home (past a cinder block wall) also burning. Additional resources enroute, putting this at a Greater Alarm status. Following protocol, firefighters were standing by due to multiple reports of person with gun involved in the house fire and LAPD reported shots fired. Firefighters got a line in place in a defensive position to knock back the bulk of the flames to provide LAPD the room to conduct their operation. LAPD then reported suspect in custody and firefighter/paramedics are responding to the patient for treatment/transport. Firefighters are now in an offensive operation for the original fire unit and any exposed homes.
