Knockdown Structure Fire; INC#0545; 10:08AM; 3721 W Evans St; http://bit.ly/2YtQYPM; Los Feliz; 43 LAFD Firefighters took just 21 minutes to extinguish the fire, confining flames to the fully involved street level (top) floor of the 2 story descending hilliside home. A 27 year-old male civilian (resident?) who sustained severe burn injury has been taken in serious condition by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital. During their relentless search of all areas within the heat- fire- and smoke-filled home, firefighters discovered and rescued an unresponsive pet dog. LAFD personnel are working tirelessly at scene in an attempt to resuscitate the canine.
