He fell an undetermined distance after being struck in the back by unknown size rock, and has a non-life threatening leg injury and back pain. County Firefighters, took just 48 minutes to extinguish two acres acres of vegetation burning in four areas 150 yards apart, near the Glendale / City of Los Angeles border (EB 134 east of Harvey Drive), north of the CHP Communications Center, which was not directly impacted by the fire. No injury. No structures threatened or damaged. No evacuation. Fire cause under investigation. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0142; 04:51AM; 1820 E 48th Pl; https://bit.ly/3DWMchm; Central-Alameda; KNOCKDOWN: 82 firefighters extinguished the fire in one hour and 34 minutes. Crews had to make their way over 150' deep into the large building filled with shelves of textiles to reach the seat of the fire. There are no injuries reported. A small amount of fire was quickly extinguished in the building adjacent to the fire unit. Crews will remain on scene through the morning conducting overhaul operations which will impact traffic in the area. Due to the size of the fire, LAFD Arson and Counter-Terrorism Section is responding for the investigation.
