It took 49 LAFD firefighters 50 minutes to snuff out the flames, holding the burn to approximately 1.5 acres. Crews will remain on scene to ensure any remaining hot spots are eliminated. Firefighters were able to limit fire damage to an occupied one-story home to the north, that despite intense flames, suffered only superficial fire damage. No injury.
