Update Brush Fire; 04:37PM; 11700 Terra Vista Way ; internal:/; #LakeViewTerraceFire; KNOCKDOWN: Approx 500 personnel (250 LACoFD, 150 LAFD, 50 USFS, 50 LAPD.) in 2 hours. 62 acres, 95% contained. No homes damaged. Cause under invest. 20 homes were under voluntary evacuation (West of Little Tujunga/Osborne, North of Eldridge Ave, West of Terra Bella St, North of Fenton Ave). Update Brush Fire; 01:43PM; 17258 Sesnon Blvd; internal:/; #SesnonIC; KNOCKDOWN: Nearly 100 LAFD Firefighters in 55 min, kept under 5 acres. Firefighters battled the flames from the air and ground. LAFD in Unified Command with LACoFD. LACoFD helicopters along with fixed winged aircraft are canceled. Firefighters continue to get hoselines completely around the fire, 4 LACoFD Camp Crews assisting. Structures nearby, however not directly threatened. No formal evacuation transpired. Firefighters expected to remain on-scene overnight, mopping-up hotspots and ensuring no flare-ups. No injury.
