Air Operations lowered a rescuer down to assess and stabilize the patient. UPDATE Structure Fire; INC#1019; 02:35PM; 1400 S Los Palos St; https://bit.ly/3YE3qNY; Boyle Heights; Update at 8:00 PM on 6/20/26: Aerial suppression operations have concluded for the evening. Ground crews will remain actively engaged throughout the night, utilizing a large amount of water and the LAFD structural firefighting robot. Firefighter safety remains the top priority, as crews have identified areas of wall instability due to the significant volume of water being applied to the structure. Smoke conditions are expected to continue evolving as weather conditions change and suppression efforts progress. Neither exposed structure was affected by fire, and no injuries have been reported. Knockdown in 29 minutes with approximately 100 firefighters working.
