There was a well developed attic fire which crews prevented from extending down into the structure. During the investigation, they encountered someone who reported hearing an explosion. They located an apartment with a lithium-ion battery which had been charged and it 'exploded' with the fire extinguished by automatic fire sprinklers. Additional resources requested to assist with water removal from multiple units (number unknown). One patient is being evaluated for possible non-life threatening burn injury.
