Firefighters arrived to find three vacant, single family dwellings (adjacent to each other) well involved in fire. Firefighters quickly initiated fire attack on all three structures, simultaneously and extinguished the fires with no injuries reported. Cause to be determined. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0523; 11:45AM; 3147 N Hollyridge Dr; http://bit.ly/2VcG0wp; Hollywood Hills; 77 FF in 72 min. Firefighters found a descending hillside home with fire burning from the lower levels up to the street level. Narrow streets and steep grades presented challenges with getting apparatus and equipment to the address. Firefighters began battling the fire from the exterior as they transitioned to an interior fire attack. Teams on the roof coordinated cutting holes in the roof to ventilate the home as hose lines were deployed inside. The cause of the fire remains under active investigation.
