Firefighters found a descending hillside home with fire burning from the lower levels up to the street level. Narrow streets and steep grades presented challenges with getting apparatus and equipment to the address. Firefighters began battling the fire from the exterior as they transitioned to an interior fire attack. Teams on the roof coordinated cutting holes in the roof to ventilate the home as hose lines were deployed inside. The cause of the fire remains under active investigation.
