Two patients total: Adult female was trapped in the wreckage of her badly damaged vehicle. Beyond medical assistance, she was determined deceased at scene. An adult male from another vehicle with non-life threatening injuries, is being transported by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital. #LATraffic: Closure of one or more lanes of La Cienega Boulevard in the immediate area until LAPD operations are complete, unknown duration. Motorists, expect congestion and delay, avoid the immediate area and consider an alternate route. Detours are readily available. Monitor traffic reports on news radio. Knockdown - Fire; INC#1538; 07:12PM; 4520 W Sunset Bl; https://bit.ly/3NJFbW6; #EastHollywood; First arriving 30 LAFD Firefighters took just 24 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish a well-involved delivery truck trailer (unknown contents) parked at a loading dock to the rear of a grocery store that was open for business. Firefighters calmly evacuated all (unspecified number) patrons and workers from the two-story supermarket of concrete tilt-up construction. Though some smoke entered the rear of the store, there was no fire extension. No injuries have been reported. LAFD Air Ops located the patient and lowered two rescuers down. They conducted a patient assessment and determined death for an approximately 35yo male patient. The incident is being transitioned to LAPD and LA County Coroner. Any further questions are referred to those agencies.
