Fire attack was not able to make entry through the front due to excessive storage conditions and redirected to an alternate entry. Once inside, they were able to extinguish with no injuries reported. Suspect vehicle collided with two other vehicles at or near an intersection, including a pick-up truck being driven by a public utility worker. 5 patients total: 3 are seriously injured. 2 have minor-to-moderate injury. None of the patients are law enforcement officers. The intersection of Western Avenue and Franklin Avenue will remain closed to all traffic until the on-site law enforcement investigation is complete. Duration unknown. Park Rangers made their way to the vehicle and report one 68yo female patient, alert and talking (extent of injuries unknown at this time). Firefighters are on scene and making their way down with equipment, to assess the situation to determine the safest method of bringing the patient up to the road for treatment/transport as required.
