The fire started in a one story commercial building which was attached (via a division wall) to a two story (street facing) commercial building. The fire extended into the attic of the one story. A primary and secondary search located no occupants in either building. Cause and $ loss TBD. There are no reported injuries and the exact number of persons trapped is not known. Firefighters are continuing to address any stuck elevators throughout the facility. Any media questions regarding the power outage are referred to LAWA officials. No further details.
