The man was not physically trapped by the train. He has been safely extricated and is being medically evaluated by LAFD responders. His site affiliation and the circumstances of his being at track level have yet to be determined. No other injuries reported. Partial roof collapse and division walls created challenges in reaching the different areas of the fire inaccessible from the exterior, defensive mode. Firefighters were able to work some sections in the offensive mode while other portions remained defensive. There are still some hot spots remaining which crews will continue to address well into the morning. The large number of fire apparatus will impact traffic in the area and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes. No injuries reported. Cause and $ loss TBD.
