Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#1331; 05:47PM; 2327 N Beachwood Dr; https://bit.ly/4o6BhZx; Hollywood Hills; Two-story fourplex with light smoke initially showing and fire inside a wall, as reported by the first-arriving company. Due to the complex location, firefighters carefully ensured all hot spots were extinguished before declaring knockdown at the 32-minute mark. Fire cause has not yet been determined. LADOT requested for traffic control in the area while LAFD crews remain on scene for overhaul of the damage. Drowning - FATALITY; INC#0488; 08:38AM; 5517 S Ocean Front Wk; https://bit.ly/4goJ1mU; Venice; LAFD resources assisted LACO Lifeguards and Fire in search operations for an approximately 50-year-old male who was seen entering the ocean channel at Marina Del Rey Harbor. The patient was located approximately 30 yards from his point of entry by LACO Lifeguards and taken to the Beaches and Harbor docks for advanced care by LAFD firefighter/paramedics. Unfortunately, the patient was beyond medical help and pronounced deceased onscene.
