Update Brush Fire; 03:49PM; 2299 Allesandro Way; internal:/; #SilverLakeFire; At least 8 acres burned. Approximately 20 homes were threatened on Corralitas Dr, Lake View Ave, and Silver Ridge Ave. At least 3 out buildings (sheds?) destroyed, all on Lake View Ave. 2 homes suffered damage from flames, both on Corralitas Dr, 1 home suffered exterior damage and the other home suffered attic damage. Update Brush Fire; 02:45PM; 2299 Allesandro Way; internal:/; #SilverLakeFire; 5 acres of medium to heavy brush burned. 2 nonresidential structures (sheds?) burned. No homes burned however at least 5 homes were threatened near Lake View Av and Silver Ridge Av, which firefighters protected. KNOCKDOWN: Approx 150 LAFD firefighters + LACoFD & GlendaleFD = 100% containment. No formal evacuations. The 2 freeway is shut down in both directions.
