Fatality Fire 03/12/2017

The fire was contained to the unit of origin but the patient (age/gender unk) transported in full arrest was pronounced dead at the hospital with smoke and burn injuries. The apartment has excessive storage conditions. No other injuries reported. 39 FF gained knockdown in 17 mins. PIO Scott enroute to the scene. LAFD Arson enroute for the investigation. Hazardous Materials Squad unable to detect hazardous source after a thorough sweep of the parking structure. All patients were treated/evaluated and are being released on-scene.
