Firefighters handled an attic fire in one unit and prevented it from spreading to additional units while inside crews conducted salvage operations to protect belongings. No injuries reported. Update Structure Fire; 10:51PM; 700 S Beverly Glen Bl; internal:/; Westwood / UCLA; KNOCKDOWN: 61 FF in 65 mins. After extinguishing the bulk of the fire, there was a flare up in the large common (meaning not divided, attic runs open the entire space of the home) attic and additional resources were requested. Fire was primarily contained to the attic. All occupants of the home are accounted for and no injuries reported. Extensive overhaul required to ensure no hot spots remain in the attic / ceilings. Due to the size of the home and potential for fire to run the entire attic, additional resources were requested. Primary internal search did not locate any occupants in the home.
