Update Structure Fire 02/08/2018

Update Structure Fire; 07:30PM; 10835 W BELLAGIO RD; internal:/; Bel Air / Holmby Hills; 107 FF remain on-scene for over 2 hours battling the well entrenched stubborn blaze. Due to extensive fire load, firefighters transitioned into defensive operations, pouring water from the exterior. The occupied 5,719 sqft residence suffered significant damage, however firefighters stopped the flames from spreading to the adjacent pool house, garage, and nearby brush. Firefighters are making good progress, however there is not an official knockdown. The residents (homeowner, children, and nanny) were alerted by functional smoke alarms, and self evacuated unharmed. Total of 1 injury: Male FF suffered non-life threatening burns to face and hands. He was transported to a local Trauma Center in fair condition.
