Update Brush Fire 04/19/2018

Update Brush Fire; 05:56PM; 11548 Thurston Circle; internal:/; Bel Air / Holmby Hills; KNOCKDOWN 73FF in 80 mins. Through the aggressive firefighting both on the ground and in the air, the fire was contained to the rear portion of the large home. While it suffered significant damage in that area, to include loss of structural integrity, the fire was prevented from spreading throughout the home. Firefighters also defending from the spread to the surrounding brush which would have immediately threatened at least two additional homes. Search was conducted and no occupants located. Update Brush Fire; 04:51PM; 11548 Thurston Circle; internal:/; Bel Air / Holmby Hills; Confirmed structure fire (at least one room at the back of the large home) with heavy fire. Water drop taking place to defend the brush area that is exposed to the structure fire. Firefighters are working both to extinguish and prevent the spread of the structure fire and defend the brush area from extension as well.
