Update Brush Fire; 02:55PM; 1020 N Bel Air Rd; internal:/; Bel Air / Holmby Hills; Fire approximately 1/4 acre in medium to heavy brush, winds not a factor. Due to proper brush clearance by residents, fire will run out of fuel - giving firefighters the time to get ground lines down the deep canyon while LAFD Air Ops executes aggressive water drops on the right flank where the fire is dug into eucalyptus trees. Update Structure Fire; 01:47AM; 1021 N New Hampshire Av; internal:/; Hollywood; KNOCKDOWN: 92 FF in 38 mins. Building type updated to a large, two story single family dwelling with a converted attic. Fire was primarily in the 2nd floor and attic. Two patients evaluated, one patient (age/gender unk) uninjured (no transport to the hospital), 2nd patient 36M, being transported in fair condition from smoke exposure. Update Brush Fire; 10:11PM; 162 Griffith Park ; internal:/; Hollywood; #GriffithPark KNOCKDOWN: 95FF in 2 hrs 25mins. Due to the rugged, remote terrain firefighters faced challenges in maneuvering apparatus, acquiring water supplies and ascending terrain to put hand lines in place. Acreage remains estimated at 3-4 with no structures damaged and on injuries reported.
