LAFD Air Ops has a window in the weather conditions and is now launching multiple helicopters. LACoFD Copter 22 is on scene making water drops. Firefighters have structural defense in place at the southeast end of Via Pacifica and Via La Costa and are coordinating directly with the affected homes. Upon arrival, units concluded that the vegetation fire consisted of multiple trees ignited which are in close proximity to multiple structures. Firefighters are engaged in extinguishing both the vegetation fire and the compromised structures. Cause of fire is undetermined.
