Neither that or today's fire caused injury, and both remain under investigation. Update Knockdown Structure Fire; INC#1663; 10:12PM; 648 N Ardmore Av; http://bit.ly/2HY50Sb; East Hollywood; 62 Firefighters took 28 minutes to confine and extinguish heavy fire within a 3,064 square-foot combination 1 & 2 story vacant / boarded multi-family home. One male civilian was rescued from the 2nd floor of the inferno by LAFD firefighters, and has been taken to an area hospital in critical condition with unspecified injuries. There are currently no firefighter injuries, as fire overhaul continues.
