Numerous Air Ops water drops stopped all forward progress of the fire, holding it to just under 1/4 acre, and extinguished all visible flame. Update Traffic Collision; INC#0246; 07:24AM; 13040 W Sunset Bl; https://bit.ly/2zQG661; Pacific Palisades; The one patient (unknown age / gender / condition / affiliation / circumstances) trapped in the undescribed vehicle, has been skillfully rescued by LAFD personnel, who used hydraulic prying tools to disassemble the vehicle's dashboard and free the patient, now en route to a regional trauma center with LAFD Paramedics. #LATraffic: Closure of one or more lanes in the vicinity may continue until the (LAPD West Traffic Incident #997) investigation is complete. Unknown duration. Motorists: expect congestion and delay, avoid area and consider alternate route. Monitor traffic reports on news radio.
